Hello again Kim.
I want to thank you again for your wonderful leads to sites on the Bann Valley area of Londonderry and much information on my Knox ancestors, especially in the birth, baptism, death and burial records from 1796 thru 1900 of the lst Presbyterian Church, Garvagh area of County Londonderry at http://www.angelfire.com/falcon/bannvalley/.
In checking the family list of Rev. James Brown from 1796 to 1840, I noticed that some of John Knox's children have a "do" after their names. Can you tell me what this means?
I checked the web sites on Irish/Scotch name meaning but I could not find an explanation for the "do". Anxiously waitin for your reply, and - again thanks for you assistance.
