I am looking for any information on a Patience Maher/Meagher who married Henry Stone of Bonaventure/Rocky Brook (now Monroe), Newfoundland, Canada between 1843 and 1848. This I have been able to determine because Henry's first wife died in 1843 and he and Patience's first child was born in 1848.
The only concrete information I have been able to find on her for 30 years is that she and Henry had 7 children: Naomi, Caroline, a daughter with no name recorded, Emmanuel, Alfred John, Mary and Christina, and that her maiden name, Maher, is given on the birth record of one of her children.
Henry Stone was born 31 Dec., 1813 at Old Bonaventure, Newfoundland, Canada, and Patience's last child was born in 1859 to give a possible age range for her.
I am looking for her marriage record, birth record, death record, parents anything that can help me find out who she is and where she comes from.
I also have rumours that she came from Kerley's Harbour (near Trinity and Bonaventure), Trinity Bay or Harbour Grace, Conception Bay or St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada and that the family was originally from Tipperary, Ireland but I can't find anything to confirm any of these stories.
