Higdon Lineage Ireland?
Posted by: Jamie Higdon (ID *****3174) Date: May 11, 2012 at 08:36:04

Hello!

I have been trying to locate information on where my particular lineage of Higdon ancestry came from exactly. I grew up hearing about 3 bothers and a 1, possibly 2 sisters coming to the US from Ireland. So I have grown up claiming to be Irish and proudly. I have however find little where some Higdons left England and some went to Ireland and the Americas and Canada becuase of ecomonic and politcal supression. I do know that my dads family all the way back to this "Great-Great-Grandfather" lived and resided in the northeast corner of the state of Alabama. Any information to help me would be greatly appreciated! I want to know where I came from! :-) Thanks and God Bless! j~
