Only three of Julia's nine children had offspring, Thomas (my father), my Aunt Julia(called "Dolly" by her family) who married Jim Oates and my aunt Josephine who married a Mitchell.

I have been unable to confirm that Julia (the elder)was born in Lynn and unable to uncover a record of her birth in Ireland.

Dolly(Julia the younger)had only one son and to my knowledge there was no Kathleen among the Mitchells. If you are Jilia's granddaughter, we are cousins.

I'm confused because I thought I knew my cousins.
