Does anyone know if ___is an Irish name, if so where would it be found

Does anyone happen to know if the surname Arnold is an Irish name, or if not what nationality it would have been. ?Where in ireland would it have most likely been found?

This is a new name that has crept up, and I know nothing else about her.
