Looking for information on James Goddard and Rebecca Goddard, both born approximately 1810. They appear on the England census of 1841 in Market Harborough, Bowden Magna, Leicester, England, and then appear on the ship Metoka, sailing from Liverpool, England to New Orleans, arriving 27 October, 1943. I have not been able to determine for certain who James' parents were, although the census states that he was born in that same county. I have nothing further back for Rebecca (maiden name, parents, where born), but the census notes that she was born "in Scotland, Ireland, or foreign parts." Would love to find more info on both, and a record of their wedding. Thanks to anyone who can help.
