Viktoria,in addition to Samuel's birth in 1876,I have found 8 other children born to Abel Wiggins.They are;
1870 Thomas born co Cavan
1871 Margaret born Cootehill,co Cavan
1872 John born Cootehill,co Cavan
1873 Anna Maria born Cootehill,co Cavan
1877 John born co Cavan
1879 William born co Cavan
1881 David born co Roscommon
1884 Joseph born co Roscommon

Abel and Anna were married in 1869 in Cootehill,co Cavan

I also came across this passenger list which is the closest match I could find to Samuel:
Samuel Wiggins
age 24 born @ 1876 Ireland
can read and write
last residence:Strokestown(its in co Roscommon)
arrived in New York on 7 July 1900
final destination:Philadelphia
has $10.00 on him
whether ever in the US before:yes-for 8 months Philadelphia in 1899
going to join relative:Thos Wiggins in Philadelphia,PA
departed from Queenstown(Cobh)Ireland
on board ship "Campania"

I looked at the 1900 census and found 2 Wiggins both in Manchester,Massachusetts who may be relations to Samuel;
William Wiggins age 29 who was born in Scotland and Thomas Wiggins age 29 born 1870 who says he was born in Canada(I have my doubts about this)and that his parents both born in Scotland(which with names Wiggins and Irvine is possible).
Also,did Hulda ever return to the US?There are a few passenger lists with those names so I wondered.Mind you none of them show a son Samuel travelling with her.
Hope this helps,Kim
