when you look at the remnants of the county Antrim census,there are quite a few Mulholland families in Aghagallon parish which is where Arthur is listed in Griffiths.
On familysearch.org I also located 3 other births which seem to be brothers and sister to your grandfather;

I would get copies on your grandparents marriage cert and their death certs to see if there is any other info on them.Also,was your granddad naturalized?Check with the court(probably in Pittsburg)and if he was get a copy of it.Gather up as much as possible in the US before going to foreign records.When the 1940 census comes out check that as well.Hope this is helpful.If I can be any more help let me know,Kim
