My ggrandfather was Thomas Tierney, son of Felix Tierney and Mary O'Malley. Thomas had two brothers that we know of, Charles and Michael. These three boys were born in Westport, Co Mayo. Thomas b 1819, Charles b 1821, and Michael b 1828. Thomas left Ireland in 1843, landing first near Quebec. After a few years he made his way through RI, Vermont, and down to the Virginias, where he married Catherine Ford. Charles and Michael came to the US around 1850. The brothers met up and ultimately settled in the Jessenland, MN area. Michael died in 1868, leaving his wife Bridget and son John. All three boys are buried in the Jessenland Cememtery. We have been unable to find any information on other siblings, records of their birth/baptisms, or anything on Felix/Mary.
