Richard O'Shaughnessy of Glin, Ireland

Looking for information on my grt-grt-grt grandfather Richard O'Shaughnessy probably of Glin, Ireland. Born 1809 or 1810, emigrated 1861, naturalized 1866.

His wife was Mary Curtin; his children were Jeremiah, b.Ireland 1849(my grt-grt grandfather); Ellen, b. Ireland c. 1855; John, b. Ireland c. 1857; Elizabeth, b. U.S.A. c. 1866.

Also perhaps, Patrick, Bridget, and Johanna, Birthdays unknown.

The 1879 U.S. census places the Richard, Ellen, John and Elizabeth in Rolla, Missouri. Family lore says they immigrated through New Orleans.

Any solid information would helpful.
