Weekes in Ireland

Since my paternal grandfather, Michael Weekes, was born in Dublin
in 1884 , I have been researching Weekes families in Ireland for the
last two years.
I have come across hundreds of 19th century Weekes or Weeks records
mostly from Dublin, Waterford, Wicklow and Limerick. The name seems
to have been well established in Ireland by the 1600s since there
are dozens of 17th century Weekes baptisms and marriages recorded
in Irish parish records.
It would be interesting to see if any other Weeks / Weekes researcher
has found Irish roots.
Since I have transcribed a good deal of data, I might be of some
In my personal research I found my great grandfather, William J.
Weekes, his brother Patrick T. Weekes and their father, Henry
Weekes were all Dublin confectioners.Henry Weekes was married to
Catherine Delany. William Weekes was married to Mary Ann Leavy.
William also lived in Limerick and Waterford.
If you have any interest in pursuing Irish Weekes families please
let me know.
