Thank you Kim. Are you from Ireland? I understand there are some gaps in Irish records that do not exist and some have not yet been put into a data base so something may show up in future listings . I can trace Edward & Rachael clearly to 1861 census in Canada /Chippawa were their ages were listed as 40 and 34 with one son. The 1871 census says Edwards age is 53 which puts his dob 1818. Rachael dob may be 1828. . Several Records indicate both were from Ireland and there the trail ends? No marrage records in Canada that I can find. They could have emigrated at any time between say 1838 and 1861 but possibly in the 1850's when the biggest influx from Ireland occured. ? There is an Edwa Lenox (?) listed in the 1851 cense with another Lenox but both are male (could be an error. but religion is something I cannot clearly read but not the Church of England. If that is them then could have arrived in Canada about 1851. Only other thing I can think of is to get access to the Chippawa Anglican Church Records to see if there is a specific point of origin in Ireland on any records they may have. Thanks for your help.
