Granya,there are three Patrick Mooneys listed in Griffith's Valuation 1848-1864 which would cover the time period of Michael's birth.They are;

Patrick Mooney Drumumna,Inchicronan,Ennis,Clare
Patrick Mooney Knockanoura,Clooney,Tulla,Clare
Patrick Mooney Nooan,Ruan,Corrofin,Clare

As co Clare's records have yet to come online,what you would have to do is find the nearest LDS(Latter Day Saints)library to you and go through the parish register microfilms for these three areas to locate Michael's birth/baptism record.Hope this helps,Kim
