Long family of NC/TN/AL/TX/OK

I am looking for information on the Long families of Robertson County in the early to mid 1800's.

My GGGrandfather Edward Long B:1810 in Alabama according to the 1850 Hopkins County Texas census.
There he is married to an Alcy S. with children being born in TN starting @ 1833.

Edward may have been married to a Jane Kennedy m. 1828 and or a Sarah Ritchie m.1842, prior to marrying Alcy S. and I believe that Alcy was named after her Aunt Alcy (Ellis) in Alabama. Her Aunt was married to an Alfred Long, who recieved a land grant in AL. Aunt Alcy lived and died in Alabama.

Edward and Alcy S.(?Spradling?)'s children as listed in the 1850 census are:
Susan Elizabeth b 1833 TN m. ? Mathews, m. Crow
James b: 1835 TN
Ruben b:1837 TN
Mary Poly 1839 b: TN
Catherine b: 1941 TN
Solomon b: 1844 TN m. Bettie Spradling
John b: 1844 TN m. America Jane Quaid
Robert b:1855 TX m. Francis Spradling - my line
Malissa b:1856 TX
Albert b: 1858 TX

I believe that Edward dies in late 1859 or early 1860 as he is no longer with the family and Alcy is living with her daughter and shows to be a widow.

In 1898 an Ed & J.M. Long visited the Long's in Jack Co., Texas where Robert L., settled.

I am a DNA match to a Johnny Long of NC., who traces his ancestry to a John Long who we believe came tp the US @ 1760 from Ireland/Scotland.

Please contact me if you have connections or information.
