More Maddens of Dublin...Help!
Posted by: Hilary McBride (ID *****3154) Date: December 08, 2011 at 06:46:52

Can anyone help me with the "disappearing" Maddens of Dublin???
Justin was born in South Dublin in 1892. He was sent to France in the First World War and was invalided out in mid-1918. But where did he go? All records seem to stop...yet a relative (now dead) recorded that he married and had 4 children. But there is no record of them.
The last address for Justin's mother (named Bridget)in 1917 was St Bridget's Convent, Wexford. But there's no record of her death.
Justin had a sister named Elizabeth (born about 1908/1909 according to the 1911 census)but there's no record of her birth.
Another sister (named Catherine)appears in the 1901 census and then disappears... but there doesn't seem to be a record of her death.
Anyone have any ideas of where else (apart from Ancestry.co.uk) to look for their records???
Help!
