where is Brannockstown Ireland?

My GG Grandfather was Joseph Brogan. On his naturalization papers it says he is from "Brannockstown in the Kingdom of Ireland". I then searched Griffiths and find there is a listing for "Bellfield or Brannockstown, Enniscoffey Parish, Co Westmeath". When I search via Google it seems to say Co. Meath though.

Any words of wisdom from those of you with more knowledge of Ireland?
