Hi Kathy,

When I first posted my message, the genforum software recommended that I post to Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois, Ireland, and I added Gannon and Missouri because some of these individuals have been in other states. Some very nice ladies in another forum helped me understand that Minnie B Keeling from the 1880 census is the one and same Minnie Naederhoff in the 1930 census and the one and the same Eler Gannon in the 1900 census. I am now looking for John Gannon's parents--who, according to Minnie "Eler" B Keeling's and John Gannon's Kentucky marriage certificate in 1893, are Samuel and Mary Gannon. In one census, John states his parents are from Tennessee. I am now looking for John's parents, who may have relatives in North Carolina. Thank you so much for the wonderful help of the ladies on these forums.
Liz
