My GGrandmother's name was Julia Mary Moynihan and she came from Currens Ireland born approx.1857.

I would like to know if anyone that might see this post if you have a Julia Mary Moynihan on any of your family tree's that might be my GGrandmother?

I don't know Julia's parents first names and that is part of my current search, as well as, any other information about family members, brothers or sisters etc,.

Julia Moynihan married Denis Mahony/Mahoney on 20 Oct 1878 in the parish of Killeentierna Ireland, then left for New Zealand via Plymouth aboard the "Waikato" as Assisted Immigrants also in October 1878. They arrived in NZ, Lyttleton (I think) January 1879. They lived there for a few years,I am unsure of where they lived in NZ, did someone sponsor them? Approx 1883 they left NZ for Australia but I can't seem to be able to locate where they lived earlier on in Australia either.

My Mothers name was Sheila Mary so another question is the name Sheila a Moynihan name?

Cheers
Kim
