I have some info on Carrickmacross (but not much)
My Gr Grandfather was schoolmaster at BallyMackney
school in Carrickmacross. He was born in 1856.
His son Peter married Teresa Mansfield, she was
also a teacher in the area. I have had contact
with the local parish priest Vincent Connolly, but
he's terrible at writing back!

What have you got so far?
