Hi again Kathleen,
I hope I don't confuse with this.
Origionally John hoolihan and Mary Purcell moved from County Cork to Flagmount Clare. They had a family James,Darby Jeremiah, John,Michael and Mary. James my greatgrandfather came to Australia, Mary married Michael Casey, and nothing else is known. What happened to Darby Jeremiah, John and Michael is unknown.
John Hoolihan died or whatever before 1855, and Mary married Ringrose O'Meara in Flagmount in 1855.
I have had the houlihan family researched by Clare Heritage, and have the 1901 and 1911 census.Henry and Bridget O'Meara family must have emmigrated somewhere as I cannot find any trace of them.
So I thought if I contacted some O'Meara or Houlihan's from that area I might find out something. I have already written to William O'Meara but I received no reply.
So I am going to write to Tobias and see what happens.
You are a great help, and I do appreciate your replies.
Regards,
Leo.
