MY LIDDY FAMILY
James Liddy/Lyddy was born about 1840 at Dromoland County Clare. His parents names may be John Liddy and Sarah Macnamara but I have not been able to find a record of his birth so I do not know of other siblings.

Residence was Ardsollas.(possibly Margaret's residence)
The names were spelt James Lyddy and Margaret Clancey on the register.
Also an extract from the Clare Journal September 5th 1861
Marriage- Mr.James Liddy to Miss Margaret Clancy- both of Ardsollas County Clare.
Children born to James & Margaret in County Clare ( no record found) There may have been others.

She married James Liddy as above and they are my great grandparents.
We have tried for years to find immigration to Australia for Liddy and Clancy but have not had any luck.
If you can help in any way I would be very grateful. I have pages of Parish registers for Liddy but I do not know which ones are mine. I wrote to the Parish Priest at Newmarket on Fergus about 18 months ago but received no reply. I would like to access the Parish Registers for Doora but the LDS do not have them.
