Dun Laoghaire pronounced Dunleary is a coastal town south of Dublin with a great port with ferryboats. The town is a fun town with very nice local people and good places for food. There is a Dart train stop there so one can hop on and head to Bray, to the south or Dublin, for instance, to the north. It is a great way to get back and forth, quiet and on time. Better than using a car to get to town. There is a nice mall in town as well. We really enjoyed our times there. The next town south, historic Dalkey, has many trendy excellent and fairly priced restaurants and historic castle as well.
