Stuart, I have been trying to trace my COEN ancestors
here in the United States, and have been told they
probably originated in County Mayo, Ireland. My earliest
ancestor that I know of was Isaac COEN, born about
1784 in Pennsylvania (U.S.). I don't know who his
parents were, but if it is possible they could have
come from County Mayo, I would like to share info.
If you find yours back to before 1784, then please
contact me directly by e-mail.

Good luck. Della
