I failed to bokmark this location and have just now got back to it and say my post and you response. I would like to hear more. My Patrick Rody was born circa 4-1838/39 in Ireland. he served in the Civil War in Company e, 11th Regiment out of NY. He mustered out 2-3-1865. He married Virginia Mary Dempsey in St. Lawrence Co., NY. Patrick and Mary had 13 children (the first 7 born in NY, the last 6 born in KS). I have extensive information on his family and descendants whicn I am willing to exchange. Am specifically interested in knowing from where in Ireland he came, the names of his brothers and sisters. If there is a definite connection, would like to hear back from you and exchange information.
