I have a certified copy of the marriage of
Joseph Holland to Mary Ann Anderson 30 Oct 1857 from St. Ann's on Donegal St. in Belfast. From this certificate is where I got the names of John f/o Joseph and Robert f/o Mary Ann.

I have certified copies of birth certificates for all children b to Joseph Holland except Eliza Jane, have a marriage certificate for her as she married Robert Dickson 3 Nov 1887 and her age is given as "full" Marianne Holland and have a marriage certificate for her as she married John Alexander Morrison 4 Nov 1903 age given as "full". On 1901 Irish census she is given as age 37. This now gives me a birth year of 1863/64. Now I can search for her a birth certificate. Unable to find a birth certificate as I did not have a birth date for Eliza Jane until 1911 Irish census-gives her age as 52, husband Robert age 76 and son Joseph age 12. This means to me that she was the 1st child of Joseph Holland af he married in 1857. Now I can search for validation of birth registry on her.

Since Joseph died 3 Oct 1900
he is not on the 1901 census and do not have a county of birth.

Have a copy of 1901 and 1911 census that gives Mary Ann Holland b county Armagh and Walter, Ada, Mariann all b county Antrim. Mariann married 1903.
This man has been so elusive. When he died in 1900 his children scattered like birds as soon as his will was challenged in court by Mary Ann Moore m/o Mabel Fitzberald Holland. Joseph Anderson Holland went to Dublin by 1909,, son Fred Came to USA in 1904 and William George went to England. This I discovered in the last year. He had 3 sons and they all moved to New Zealand.

Thanks
Shirley
