Pat,
My wife and I are intrigued by the possible link between your Catherine Malloy and our Annie Dougherty (born Doherty; AKA Docherty). Annie arrived in the US in April 1921. For the remainder of the 20s, we are aware of 4 or 5 different addresses that she lived at none of which was on Pulaski Ave. It is possible but we just don't info on that address. The manifest that you referenced actually cites a 5350 Poliski Ave which does not exist by doing a Google or a Zillow.com search. I found a 5352 Pulaski but no 5350. It appears that the neighborhood has several of the old houses knocked down and new ones built. We are not aware of a Malloy connection to the Docherty\Doherty\Dougherty clan. If you look at the 1901 and 1911 Census records at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~donegal/inishkeelproj.htm you'll find Molloy in the small townland where the Doherty's are from (Currynanerriagh). Over a 7 to 8 year search for Annie Dougherty (Pat's maternal grandmother), we've uncovered a number of facts. If you like maybe we could communicate via email or a weekend phone call. Thanks for your post and your interest. Take care! Rob and Pat Neumer.
