I research the Irish Family History Foundation's database. It contains 12,000,000 surviving rcds for abt 65% of Irish counties. Rcds are increasingly sparse B4 1840, rare B4 1800.
Note 1 - Without a KNOWN parish, the chance of an ancestor's rcds NOT being in this database is AT LEAST 35%.
Note 2 - Only 1/2 of Co. Cork's rcds are in this database.
Note 3 - The RC church kept control over most parish rcds from Tipperary (north). These are ONLY available thru the Tipperary Family History Research center at a substantial fee (regardless of outcome).
For Bri(dget) Hansbury M B4 1844 somewhere in Ireland, I found 5 rcds within a relevant range. These are: 1834 MAY, 1834 ROS, 1835 MAY, 1835 GAL, 1838 GAL, 1843 MAY, and 1843 ROS. None of these are close to Tipperary which is the most likely venue for this marriage.
For Mich(ael) Keefe M B4 1838 +/- 4 yrs somewhere in Ireland, I found 34 rcds - too many to list here. 4 were in TIPperary.
For Pat(rick) Keefe B 1843 +/- 1 yr in Co. Tipperary with the father forenamed Michael, I found 1 rcd in 1842, SS Peter & Paul, Clonmel parish.
For "B" O'Keefe B ???? in Co. Tipperary with the father forenamed Michael, I found no male B rcds within a relevant range of yrs.
These results are fuzzy and inconclusive. My best guess is these rcds exist, but are currently held by the RC church. Note 3 applies. Unless you can cajole the Church into changing its policy, you will have to work thru the Tipperary Family History Research center.
Google the Foundation's name to lead you to this database. Register, opt to be notified as rcds are added and browse. Pls post your search results to my genforum msg.
Hope this helps. Good luck.
