I searched the Irish Family History Foundation's database. It contains 11,500,000 surviving rcds for abt 60% of Irish counties. Rcds B4 1840 are sparse.
Both the forename "David" and surname "McBride" are rare in Ireland. There are only 44 B rcds for this combinationin all Ireland. Abt 50% are in Co. Antrim. Assuming he Married at age 23 +/- 4 yrs, this puts his B date at 1821. For this range, there is only 1 B rcd in 1822, Co. Kilkenny.
It looks like: 1) the B event wasn't rcd'd, 2) the rcd didn't survive, or 3) the data hasn't been digitized.
Since you have data on the Irish side, I suggest you share it with both the IFHF and others using Genforum.
Google the Foundation's name to lead you to its database. Pls post a reply to this msg to tell me your search results.
