We are looking for his son Patrick Joseph Doherty of Luton, England and his relatives. We obtained a copy of Denis Doherty’s death certificate. He died on March 25, 1984 at the Royal Infirmary in Manchester. Denis lived at 28 Thomson Road, Gorton, Manchester. His occupation was listed as a retired gravedigger. His son, Patrick Joseph Doherty, registered the death. He lived at 34 Harthill Drive, Luton, Bedfordshire - not far from London.
A search at Majesty's Court Service, District Probate Registry at Manchester resulted in a negative report for a will. Before starting a massive letter writing campaign, we thought it worth a try to make several message postings in an attempt to contact Patrick Joseph Doherty and his relatives. #1 below is Patrick’s last listed address through 1984. #2 is the birth registration of his father, Denis Doherty.
