"Without further information ..." --- so? Get that information! If there is a connection, then that obit will give you all the current names. It's certainly worth posting to UK/county boards, emailing volunteers and/or phoning a local library where the death ocurred to pull an obit or a death cert .... ? You are looking for a Denis w/that date of birth - correct? Then follow it up!

All of your dates are "relatively" recent --- obits and death certs are imperative. Even the emigration time period is fully documented and in several databases ...

I would like to see one of those boys in the SSDI or the CA death index w/their date of birth ...
