Hello Vanessa,
In the 19th and prior centuries Duagh was the name of the Civil Parish as well as a Catholic parish in the northern portion of County Kerry. The townland of Trieneragh was located in the Civil Parish of Duagh.
To find out more information about your Sheehy and Dillon ancestors, you will have to obtain their baptism certificates. Their baptisms may give some or all of the following information:
1. The parents' names, including the maiden names of their mothers
2. the name of the townland the parents were living in at the time of the baptisms
3. the occupation of their fathers
4. the name of the priest(s) who officiated at the baptisms
5. the names of the sponsors or godparents for Edward Sheehy and Catherine Dillon
According to a book by Brian Mitchell called "A Guide To Irish Parish Registers," two Cathoilc churches served the residents of the Duagh Civil Parish during the 19th century. One of these churches is St. Brigid's Catholic Church in the townland of Duagh, with registers that go back to 1819, while the other is St. Mary's Church in Listowel, with registers that start in 1802.
You should first write to the parish priest for St. Brigid's Church in Duagh and have him search his parish registers for the baptisms of Edward Sheehy and Catherine/Kate Dillon.
Contact information follows:
Very Rev. Pat Moore, Parish Priest
The Presbytery,
Duagh, Co. Kerry,
Ireland
If the Rev. Moore does not find the baptism records for your ancestors in the St. Bridget Church parish registers, you should then write to the parish priest for St. Mary's Church in Listowell. Below is his name and address:
Very Rev. James Linnane, Parish Priest
The Presbytery,
Listowel, Co. Kerry,
Ireland
_______
Because the parish registers for the churches in Duagh and Listowell go back to the early 19th century, it's also possible that there are marriage records for the parents of Edward Sheehy and Catherine Dillon. There may even be baptism records for the Edward's and Catherine's parents as well.
In County Kerry, you may find that the Dillon name was spelled "Dillane" in the 19th century. When writing to the parish priests, let them know that one of your ancestors was Catherine Dillon/Dillane so that both variations of the surname can be searched in the baptism and marriage registers.
As mentioned earlier the townlands of Trieneragh and Duagh were located in the Civil Parish of Duagh. Trieneragh will be difficult to locate on many maps of County Kerry, but this townland is located just northwest of Duagh. In turn, Duagh is located on the R 555 secondary road, just a few miles southeast of Listowel, and a few miles northwest of Abbeyfeale, which is on the Kerry/Limerick border.
To see an oil painting of Duagh, go to the following website:

Also Vanessa, I found several phone listings of Sheehys still living in the Duagh area. These listings were found in the EirCom online phone directory. It's possible these Sheehys are descendants of Edward. Please see below:

You can write to the Sheehys and Dillons, particularly to the Dillons in Trieneragh, and ask if they or anyone they know would have any knowledge about your ancestors. It's possible some of these Sheehys and Dillons are long lost cousins of yours.
Best of Luck Vanessa,
Dave Boylan
