Thomas GREEN and Marguerite PIGG
I looking for anyone that might have some information on this couple and their children. Thomas and Marguerite GREEN are referenced as the parents in the record of a parish in L'Islet, Quebec. Their son, Patrick, is the one that was married.
I haven't found any information on Thomas or Marguerite except what was noted above. Patrick on the other hand was born on the 17th of March, 1826. His place of birth is assumed to be Ireland. He died between 1901 and 1911 in L'Islet, Quebec. He married twice and produced (to the best knowledge) six offspring. I am the ggrandson of one of those descendants. Both of his wives were French-Canadians; Zoe PROTEAU and Auriel LAVOIE.
I believe that Patrick and maybe his parents went to Quebec either before or during the potato famine. But I have no evidence to either prove or disprove that.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
