Samuel Henry b. 1762 in County Antrim?
This man (my ggg grandfather) married my ggg grandmother, Esther Bacon, I am guessing in Canada. He and his wife are buried in St. James Cemetery in Hatley, Quebec, Canada (see Internment.net - lots of useful cemetery listings). He died in 1839. My sister believes that his tombstone says "born in county Antrim", which would lead us to Ireland. He had a son, Charles b. 1821 (my gg grandfather) and a daughter, Esther b. 1804 - possibly other children, I think, as there is such a big difference between the ages of these two children.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? I have reached a real dead end at Samuel Henry - can't seem to get further back (although I do have something linking him to a John and Mary Henry in Vermont - but that would place his birth in Vermont. Very confusing.)
