Ballykeel / Ballikele / Ballikeill is in Parish of Kilwaughter, co. Antrim, Northern Ireland.
Map of the Parish of Kilwaughter townlands is at :
http://www.proni.gov.uk/geogindx/parishes/par191.htmhttp://www.proni.gov.uk/geogindx/parishes/par191.htm
56acres of Lis-drum-barde / Lis-tron-biard / Lease-drim-bardmay have been part of Altscale, but I could not find it on the map. However, it may have been on the townland shown as "Old Freehold".
I am from South Australia, so do not know the area.
Perhaps someone who knows the area may be able to help ?
Townlands were:
Bally-edward
Bally-hampton
Bally-keel
Boyds-town
Capanagh
Craighorne
Demesne(of Agnew ?)
Drum-a-donaghy
Drum-na-hoe
Headwood
Hightown
Lealies
Lowtown
Moordyke
Mullagh-sandall
Old Freehold (of Agnew ?)
Rory's Glen
Sheriff's Land
Skeagh
Would you have looked "Maxwell" up on the PRONI website for the freeholder's list to see if any were from these areas ?Other from that would they be found in a search of "The Belfast Newsletter" ?
