Hi David - What a surprise to hear from you again.Know you are a busy man and I do appreciate you taking up so much time on little old me.I have never heard of the magazine that you mentioned in your message, but thank you ever so much for telling me about it.Boy, another item to learn more about Ireland with and in.Sounds like a really nice magazine and I will definitely check into it.They even have a archive section, huh?Sounds great!
I, again, don't know what I would do without your guidance, David. You are so informative about a country I know very little about - I should say, I "knew" very little about until I met you.You have taught me so much and still, even today, you are still teaching. It must really be an interesting place to visit and I plan on getting there one day, trust me.I know, your goal is to get me there - right?!You are doing a wonderful job of doing just that.Maybe the more I know when I do get there, the better, huh?
I hope this finds you well and life is treating you good. You deserve to be treated like a king for all you have done for me.I will definitely keep you posted on anything I get, believe me.
One of the three cousins that I met over the internet that live in the State of Washington went to Fairfield/Rockford, Washington a couple of weeks ago. They were there for a reunion, but stopped by the Fairfield Cemetery and the Fairview Cemetery in Rockford to get some pictures of some of the grave sites. She just sent me copies of the pictures which I in turn am having my son-in-law put on a CD for all to enjoy.Figured that would be the best way to handle the pictures for the "book" for the grandkids - to have them on a CD and they can print out whatever they want to print out that way.Anyway, the original pictures are going to my Dad in California after my son-in-law gets them on the CD to be kept with all of the other family research stuff. We have a trip scheduled for September 2 to the 18th this year to go out and see him and I am bringing the whole thing with me so we can work on it together for a change.Should be fun.All three of our kids are coming also in a staggered schedule way. Will be the first time we have all five of us been out there since 1989 and my Dad is really excited about all of us coming out and being together. It is hard to get a trip like this planned because you have five people with five different schedules, living situations, etc. so I am really thankful that we were able to work it out.
At any rate, we will have time to work on this whole thing together for a change. It has been interesting with him being 3,000 miles away working on it.
Let me close - know you have better things to do with your time than sit here and listen to me ramble and I do tend to do that too much - take care of yourself, David and stay healthy.Have fun with life - Will be back with you soon and most definitely if I hear from "anybody".Thank you again for the tip on the magazine - will check it out for sure.Until next time, David - don't work too hard - Your friend always, Pat
