I don't know where Castlewellen is, but found the following information myself this morning while looking for my own McGraths.
I foolishly haven't made a proper note of the website, but have definitely extracted all the stuff relevant to Mcgraths in Co. Tipperary. The site was a list of inscriptions from tombstones sorted by parish:
LOUGHLOHER, COUNTY TIPPERARY
Laurence McGrath and his wife Ealse Lonnergan also his son Thomas McGrath who died [sic] Novber 14th 1790 aged 49 yrs
DERRYGRATH DITTO
John McGrath d. 18 May 1789 aged 66 yrs. also son John d. 3 August 1793 aged 42 yrs.
Erected by John McGrath in memory of wife Ellenor McGrath alias Murray, d. 26 December 1805 aged 78 yrs.
John McGrath of Ballynam d. 10 May 1827 aged 56. Also his son Michael d. 10 August 1854 aged 38yrs .
MORTLESTOWN DITTO
erected by John McGrath of Cahir (no date)
My own McGrath connection is through Morgan McGrath, my greatgrandfather. He was born in the 1860s or 70s in Manchester. His parents were both Irish and the family tradition is that they eloped or left Ireland because of family opposition to the marriage. Morgan's father either became a policeman or perhaps had been one in Ireland. Anyway, he was not thought good enough for his in-laws.
Happy hunting!
