Denise.
I would estimate that my Thomas Greer would have been born about 1770 as this is the same era I would give for his wife, Ellen Anne Francis's birth. My Thomas would seem to fit in the time frame of your Greers.
I have a copy of an 1824 letter from Edward Finton of Crulin, Ireland to James Francis, Brockville, Upper Canada. In the letter Edward says, "Joseph Greer's friends are all well".
In an 1834 letter from James Pedlow of Drumgour, Ireland writes, "I cant remember all the deths that hapened since I wrote but James Boys - Janey Boyes - Thomas Boys and Joseph Greer and Oan Heer and Will Bonton's wife are all parted this life".
Sorry about the delay in responding ... changed ISP's.
Larry
