RICHARDSON Family
21 Feb 1888 Sara RICHARDSON married George William SMART, a young British soldier, at St.Paul's, Dublin. Her address was given as 42 York Street,Dublin, which I have been told, by staff at Dublin library, was a hostel for young ladies from 'out of town' working at the big department stores in the fair city. Many of these young ladies would have been from the North of Ireland i.e. Belfast.
RICHARDSON is not thought to be an Irish name, so in all probability her family were originally from England. Sara's father William RICHARDSON was a butcher.
Any information about this family would be very welcome. Thankyou.
