Dear Jack, Just back from Kansas and saw your message. How wonderful that you were able to find this for me! thank you ever so much.Edmond & Ellen are grandparents, Cornelius an uncle, John & Mary parents to my husband, and John Conor is his brother. This confirms dates of death but unfortunately still doesn't give me Edmond's parents.Oh well, one step at a time!
No, we do NOT have a copy of that booklet from CBC. It would be great to get a copy. Is there an address that I could write to?What a small world, that a relative of Dr. O'Neill should have introduced your parents!!
Did you go to UCC too?
Please know that if I can ever help you in any way I would be pleased to do so. You have done me a huge favour. Now I really want to visit Cork again!
Gratefully, Emma.
PS If you are ever byBon Secours there is a cross in the chapel with Charles'(my husbands) initials (CD) on it. It was donated by father Dr. John, in gratitude to Dod, after he saved Charles life with a rib resection at age 11. (big surgery for 1930)
Keep well.
Was St. Finbar's originally Wilton Cemetery? If so then the rest of the family are there as well.Keep well/E.
