Vera,
This info was just sent to me from another Chamberlain researcher, which comes from an index of will abstracts found in the genealogy office in Dublin:
Brownlow, als. Chamberlain, Arthur, Brownslowsderry, Co. Armagh, Esq.
1711, W Armagh
Brownlow Jane, relict of Arthur B, of Lurgan, Esq. 1721 W.P.
Brownlow William, Brownslowderry, Co. Armagh, Esq. 1739 W.P.
Brownlowe, als. Chamberlain, John, Nislerath, Co. Louth, 1716 W.P.
Brownlowe, Standish, Esq. 1716 W.P.
Brownlowe, Sir William, Brownslowderry, Co Armagh, Knt. Dated 1660
I know relict is a widow or widower, Knt must mean Knight, but can't figure out what als. stands for.I know this doesn't give any information, but possibly you can have someone in the area look these up.
Maureen
