Peter McGrath and Mary Matthews marriage ca. 1834

All,

I have located the birth records for this couple's first five children in County Meath at St. Mary's, Drogheda(Sylvester, Catherine, Anne, Mary and James). However, all the census records in the U.S. (Savannah, Georgia) indicate that the couple's remaining children were born in County Wexford.

I have been unable to locate a marriage record for Peter McGrath (MacGragh) and Mary Matthews for 1833 to 1835; their first child, Sylvester, was born in 1835.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what my next step might be to locate their marriage record? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Nancy Thompson
