I searched the Irish Family History Foundation's database. It contains 12,000,000 surviving rcds for abt 65% of Irish counties. Rcds are increasingly sparse B4 1840, rare B4 1800.

For Mathew Flynn B 1809 +/- 4 yrs in Meath, I found 1 B rcd in 1808. This rcd MAY be for your ancestor.

For Mathew Flynn M 1838 ditto, I found 1 M rcd in 1840.

For Johanna/Jane Byrne M ditto, I found 0 M rcds.

For Michael Flynn B 1843 +/- 4 yrs with a father named Mathew, I found 0 B rcds.

For Elizabeth Flynn B 1846 +/- 1 yr ditto, I found ditto.

For Henry Flynn B 1851 ditto, I found 1 B rcd in 1851.

For John Flynn B 1853 ditto, I found 1 B rcd in 1853.

For Bridget Flynn B 1859 ditto, I found 1 B rcd in 1859.

For James Flynn B 1861 ditto, I found 1 B rcd in 1861.

Some rcds MAY be for your ancestors. Search the database to confirm these analyses. A view of the detailed rcds MAY show the parents' names, residence, etc.

Google the Foundation's name to lead you to this database. Pls post your search results to my genforum msg.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
