Good thinking. I hadn't recognized this hang up when I wrote my message.

It sounds like you may find rcds for your ancestors. Co. Meath rcds begin earlier than for most counties. However, I have noticed that the priests for the early dates were slipshod in recording details. There are lots of errors of omission.
