I searched the Irish Family History Foundation's database. It contains 12,000,000 surviving rcds for abt 65% of Irish counties. Cnty Meath rcds were just added.

For Patrick Dunn B 1818 +/- 4 yrs, Co. Meath, I found 11 B rcds: 2 in 1818. One of these MAY be your ancestor. Rcds B4 1840 are sparse, although Cnty Meath is better than most.

Google the Foundation's name to lead you to this database.
Hope this helps. Best of luck. Pls post your search results to this genforum message.
