My great-great-grandfather James Mumford (Munford) immigrated to Rutland County, Vermont from County Meath, Ireland.

I put together an online list of other early County Meath immigrants (1838-1860) who made their declaration of intent or were naturalized at Rutland County, Vermont.

It is located at http://www.angelfire.com/vt2/mumford/meath.html
