Michael Fagan & Rosana Johnston in Donore, co. Meath, in 1849

Michael Fagan and Rosana Johnston were sponsors at the baptism of Margaret, daughter of Patrick Fagan and Mary Mathews in Donore, near Drogheda, on 29 December 1849. How were Patrick and Michael related?

Patrick and his family emigrated to America in 1850. A probable brother of his, Thomas Fagan, followed about 1853 and another probable relative (brother, cousin, nephew?), Nicholas Fagan, emigrated about 1856. Did Michael stay in Ireland? Has he descendants there?

Patrick Fagan and Mary Mathews are my great great grandparents.

Paul
