Hi Margaret,
Since you posted more than 18 months ago, perhaps you have found your info on the Jordans.
My g g grandfather was Michael Jordan. He lived on Derrylahan townland in Turlough Civil Parish in Mayo. However, he was the only Jordan listed there. Most Jordans lived on Lack East and Lack West as well as Cashel Upper and Lower. It's been a while since I tried researching the Jordan line (no paper trail. Catholic records didn't begin in Turlough Parish until 1847. There are Jordans listed. You might also want to check out the Castlebar RC Church records. That's where records where kept before Turlough (Parke) kept its own records. I found my g grandfather's first marriage (1838) in Castlebar church records.
