Carney and Kelly Family imigrated to Boston Ma. in 1847

Hello:

I am trying to find out any information on a Thomas Carney and a Bridget Kelly, who later married Thomas in the USA
I believe they imigrated form Ireland to america the spring of 1847 and docked in Boston Ma.
Thomas joined the Union Army in 1861. He contracted Typhoid Fever and died in Aug 1861.
It is said that many of the Carney Familys came from Mayo,
its not much to go on,but I hope someone might remember.
