None of the likely ones were the marriage I wanted to prove or disprove. The date I have is from the birth certificate of the couple's only child, and from other information I have gathered, I have long suspected it might have been fictitious, since if the marriage had taken place it would almost certainly have been bigamous. I think that I have now checked all the available sources, so I am going to leave it at that - unproven, but it probably did not take place.
