The 5 euros was originally 10 euros/rcd. I bought 9 rcds at the higher price. But found it was worth it because I located our family's Irish origins that had eluded us for 50 yrs. The 5 euro fee is less than that charged by govt agencies for similar svcs.
Viewing the detailed rcd implies paying the fee. However, in some cases, I heard the IFHF or its component organizations will waive the fee under extraordinary circumstances.
